Roscommon By-Election

There appears to be a debate about the geography of candidates and that Townie Candidates have an advantage! Just listening to Rachel Doherty speaking about the future by-election in Roscommon. She wants only one candidate and that candidate should be from North Roscommon!

Already we heard Ivan Connaughton say he wants to be a candidate, Pascal Fitzmaurice says he wants to be a candidate and now Rachel. We've yet to hear from Eugene or John Cummins. I think there may be fun times coming!!

However Ming is yet to be elected (he will be btw) but the talk has started. Ming wants John Mc Dermott to be his Independent candidate, Fine Gael suggest their candidate will be Maura Hopkins and Labour will probably run John Kelly. Sinn Féin will have a candidate probably Leitrim?

Reality time; FG will be well marked by Labour so Maura Hopkins will be on a hiding to nothing going against John I think. Boyle Candidate should be obvious choice but South Roscommon is massive area will it suit Mc Dermott?

Fianna Fáil must be favourites today to take Ming's seat however I think it'll be about that noun yes Location Location Location.
