It's twenty five past one on a Saturday night and I'm sitting listening to Shannonside Radio as they report from Leitrim and give us a rundown on the count! This swimming pool in Drumshambo is a major landmark it seems! They all (the candidates that is) got a great welcome on the doorsteps! Fella's talking about agriculture yet the Council has no competency there! Sweet mother it's hard to listen to.

On twitter I share  that Gabrielle McFadden is only the 94th woman ever elected to Dáil Éireann and I'm shocked at that but nobody else is! Still waiting for Roscommon results! No doubt about it but its great to hear the first timers after being elected. The enthusiasm is great!
