Mc Greal is gone
Another former Mayor of Roscommon has lost his seat! Micheal
Mc Greal from Ballinlough has been eliminated from the contest. A member of the
council for many years around 1985 I’d say.
It’s perhaps ironic that on the day that Luke Ming Flanagan
is at the zenith of his political career his arch enemy Michael Mc Greal should
be experiencing the loneliness of defeat.

Mc Greal was an outspoken loyal Fine Gael member who spoke
out in support of his party and was seen to be very close to the party
leadership. He previously ran unsuccessfully for the Senate and is a very high
profile Fine Gael member.
What now for Micheal Mc Greal? Well he’ll be busy with the
Inland Fisheries Board and other committees he’s involved in. A hard worker for
the Parish of Kiltullagh he’ll not be gone for long I’d say!
